In May 2026, the ICTGS will host an invitational workshop specifically dedicated to research on Latin American feminist thought. We are excited to host members of la Red Mexicana de Mujeres Filósofas. Exact dates forthcoming. 

Artist Talk with Dr. Alejandro Vallega

March 2026 - Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University welcomes Alejandro Vallega (University of Oregon) to an invitational talk organized by the ICTGS. Vallega discusses painting through the lens of phenomenology, affect, and aesthetics. 

Colloquium Invitational

April 2026 - Texas A&M University

Through the ICTGS, Texas A&M hosts special guest Shiloh Whitney, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Fordham University. Dr. Whitney presents her work on affective injustice and philosophy of emotion.

Book Panel - Islekel's "Nightmare Remains"

April 2026 - Texas A&M University

The ICTGS features a book panel on Ege Selin Islekel's Nightmare Remains: The Politics of Mourning and Epistemologies of Disappearance. In discussion with Islekel, invited scholars will present commentary, pose questions, and consider further applications of Islekel's coined concept, "necrosovereignty."
